Staff Spotlight: Eva Noel Todak, Traditional Naturopath
You may know Eva from receiving allergy treatments or emotion code from her, having an initial consultation with her, having an office visit to go over labs, getting recommendations for the supplements you need, or even reaching her on the phone to book an appointment when she is covering the front desk for us. Because she literally does it all!
This busy mom of three took some time to answer questions for our first Staff Spotlight. You can look forward to more of these in the coming months as we will be featuring a new staff member every other month. Read on for more of Eva’s story and her top tips for good health.
1. How long have you worked at SWC?
5 years this August.
2. How did you first come to be involved with SWC?
My daughter Ella got really sick. She was covered head to toe in eczema, and developed asthma. We were putting lots of steroid creams on her skin and taking allergy medications three times a day and nothing was helping. I went to the doctor to get a new steroid cream for her and the doctor informed me that the steroid cream had ingredients in it that was known to cause cancer. Obviously, I didn’t take the cream.
That same day, I went to Ella’s dance class and one of my dance mom friends saw that I was upset. I told her what we were dealing with and she referred me to Schwarz Wellness Center, where I saw Anna Penick, a nutritionist who ended up becoming one of my best friends. Anna referred Ella to Pamala Schwarz and Pamala recommended NAET.
It was a very long journey because I was not a compliant client! It took a long time to complete treatments, but Ella is now thriving and does not have eczema and is not taking any allergy medication!
3. Eventually, you started working the front desk at SWC. Can you share about your journey from the front desk to becoming a naturopath?
I knew that after Ella got better I wanted to do something in the natural health world. I considered becoming a nutritionist. Then I learned from Pamala that while nutrition is important, if people are allergic to the basic 15 nutrients, then putting them on a meal plan or a supplement regimen is counterproductive if they’re not absorbing the nutrients. knowing that and going through the journey with Ella, I felt God pointing me in the direction to become a naturopath, so I began school to become a naturopath.
4. What is your favorite part of your job?
I love everything about my job. I love talking to people, I love helping people. I love the hope that our office brings and the knowledge I have that can change a person’s life for the better because they feel better. I love when clients walk in one version of themselves and walk in a completely healthier, happier version of themselves. I love helping little kids because that’s how my journey started. I love educating women about their hormones. I love it all.
5. What do you wish more people knew about naturopathy?
We are health practitioners, not hippies that wave sage around to clear the air. There is so much more we can do to help our clients achieve optimal health and wellness.
6. What are your top 3 tips to improve general health?
Drink half your body weight in ounces of water.
Get your vitamin D levels checked.
Eat all organic food and take a multi vitamin. (I recommend Juice plus or Doterra, vitamins, both available at Schwarz Wellness Center.)
7. Can you share about your family and life outside of Schwarz Wellness Center?
I am wife to Paul Todak and mom to three kids: Braden is 13, Ella is 12, India is 7. In addition to being a traditional naturopath, I homeschool my kids and take them to all their extracurricular activities and I own a dance studio in Calimesa. Right now, I am focused on being present in my family’s life and soaking up every moment I can with them, enjoying my family before my kids grow up to be adults. I also enjoy hiking, the mountains, shopping, and reading.
8. What are your favorite healthy snacks?
Paleo Valley grass fed beef stick, avocado, walnuts, and organic dark chocolate.
Episode #6 Allergies No More?!
…Is this even possible?
More than 50 million people in the U.S. experience various types of allergies each year. They are the sixth leading cause of chronic illness in the U.S.
“Allergies are an inappropriate response from the nervous system to a harmless stimuli”- naturopath and N.A.E.T practitioner Pamala Kay Schwarz shares in our interview. N.A.E.T. is a technique that can help the body rewire the brain and nerve system's response when exposed to an allergen. So much so, that people all over the world have found relief or reversal of their food and seasonal allergies, even those with a deadly anaphylactic response have found incredible results.
Available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, iHeart Radio, and Amazon/Audible.

Breast and Body Thermography
Appointments available at Schwarz Wellness Center monthly.
Service provided by Dr. Hillary Smith D.C, CCT and founder of Advanced Medical Thermography in Southern California. Dr. Smith is an expert in Thermography with the highest certification available through the American College of Clinical Thermography. She has been offering thermography since 2006 and has been in continuous practice in Integrative Health for over 35 years.
Thermography is a non-invasive, proactive health check. Using a highly sensitive infrared camera, the screening is painless and there is not touching or radiation.
The infrared images are analyzed by specially trained Medical Doctors certified as Thermologists and a written report is generated.
Breast thermography is becoming more well-known and accepted as a valuable screening tool, looking for early changes that can be addressed with lifestyle. Dental thermography is being utilized extensively, especially with biological (holistic) dentistry to see the invisible in the mouth. Half body and full body scans are very helpful in finding root causes of pain or as a health screening.
Our newest offering is the two-area scan. This is an opportunity to have a breast screening along with an area of interest such as the head (dental) and neck at a reduced price.
